Westwood Lakes at Boston, the venue for Fishomania 2022 and Falcon Lake for the club’s second visit this season. One of the coldest nights of late and a cold blustery North Westerly wind was whipping up. Twelve anglers ventured east and pegs 28-52 on Falcon were allocated to DSJAC. The Jim Measures Memorial Cup was today’s club trophy. Current holder from last season is Ray Torrington.
Dave Preston fishing from the end peg of the allocated section finished in 1st Place. Weighing in an impressive total of 89 lbs 8 oz from Peg 51. Dave eventually working out white maggot over micros in the margin was the way to go.
Second place to Nathan Grech with 73 lbs 1 oz from Peg 42. Nathan fished both red and white maggot over ground bait in the margins.
Third place to Graham Wright with 61 lbs 12 oz from Peg 28. Graham fished both paste and maggot short on 2+2 or 2+1.
