Big change in scenery today as the anglers headed for a summer outing on the River Nene. Ten in total headed for the Sibson stretch to compete in the Pairs Cup. There was overnight rain and more forecasted during the day, but with very light winds it would be a warm one.
Overall Winner on the day was Steve Borrett with 5lbs 2 oz from peg number 17. Steve picked up an excellent Perch fishing worm on the pole feeder. Finding his remaining fish on the 5m to 8m line fishing bronze maggot over ground bait.
Second was Andy Wilson with 4lb 11oz from peg number 13. Andy fished 11m over ground bait with pinkies and 4/5m whip lines deep.
Third place was Jason Chatham with 4lb 9oz from Peg number 19. Jason fished the waggler to the far bank with worm or bronze maggot.
In the Pairs Cup Andy Wilson and Jason Chatham were the winners with a combined weight of 9lb 4oz
