Deeping St James AC had a three in one match when they fished Lake Ross with The Club Cup, 1st round of the South Holland League Series and the Second round of the Knockout Cup all to fish for. So Ray Torrington had a good day when he came out winner from peg 21 with 85lb 7oz. For most of the match he fished a Jigger rig with pellet and sweetcorn to take mostly F1’s before switching to the margins on catmeat. In second place was Richard Bell fishing pellet and meat to weigh 74lb 8oz from peg 25 and third was Kevin Crompton on peg 20 with 62lb 4oz. Brian Johnson and Ray Torrington go through to the semi finals of the Knockout Cup.
