The Environment Agency brought another batch of fish from Calverton Fish Farm which went in to the River Welland at Deeping St James along our match stretch at Deeping Roadside. We received another 1500 bream and 200 tench to the river which we hope over time will bring this sections bream and tench back to the levels of the 90’s before Low Locks Sluice failed, which emptied this stretch of its fine head of these fish. They will probably take some time before anglers see them in their catches, but when you do could you let any of the clubs committee members know so that we can monitor their progress.
