It was the second attempt to fish Round 4 of the Deeping Individual League Series (DILS) Cup, with the previous attempt falling foul of more flooding on the river Nene. The water had dropped to a good level but left some of the banks very soft under foot. Graham Wright finished ahead of the next Angler by just 8oz weighing in a decent bag of small Roach for 5lb 15oz. Graham fished the 4 metre line using a 3gm and 6gm float on the pole. Feeding pinkie in ground bait and using red maggot on the hook.
Plenty of pike were active along the Stibbington stretch, happy to take fish and feeder alike.
