With only a couple of weeks to go until the start of the new match season I thought it would be nice to reflect on last seasons results and Winners. Sadly though, at this point in writing it does look likely we will be delaying the start of the summer league due to the ongoing Covid-19 lock down.
I took over from Ray Torrington at the end of the Summer League back in October 2019 and must thank Ray for all his efforts in running the matches during that Summer.
We have ended up fishing one match short in our Season, but the stats remain impressive enough:
• 21 different anglers have taken part in the Club Days this season
• 10 different venues have been fished over 20 Matches.
• Top venue was Decoy Elm with 1,007 lbs 1oz fish weighed.
• In total 7,352 lbs 6oz of fish have been weighed in during this seasons matches
A massive thank you to all the Anglers that take part and make each of these days a fun social event and a great place to learn new techniques and skills.
