Deeping were fishing the large carp lake at Kingsland for the Dennis Clarke Cup. Clear leader was Ray Torrington who caught a personnel best for a five hour match and possibly a record for the club match section. Fishing peg 3 Ray soon had the large carp feeding in the margins and took carp to 14 lbs on catmeat to finish with 196 lbs. In second place from peg 10 was Andy Wilson who caught carp on sweetcorn for 98 lbs 11 oz. A close third on peg 11 was David Marzell fishing the method feeder to weigh 98 lb 7 oz.
