Float Fish Farm and their 2 Islands lake was the venue for today’s match. Twelve Anglers in the draw and whilst it was dry for a change the gusty North wind made for a lake of two halves.
Kevin Crompton finished in 1st place with 113lbs and 3oz from Peg number 3. Kevin fished bomb and Pellet to 20m winning the Dennis Clarke Cup.
Second place to Nathan Grech with 92lbs 15oz from Peg number 34. Starting off on bomb and pellet, the majority of Nathan’s catch came in the last hour from the margins with 8mm pellet over micros.
Third place to Ray Torrington with 64lbs 7 oz from Peg number 23. Half of Ray’s catch came on the feeder to the island with the remainder on 2 +2 with Cat meat.
