The Deepings Several Fishery is the River Welland that flows through Market Deeping and Deeping St James towards Crowland. This stretch is known as the Several Fishery from when was owned by several people, 20 in all, who owned one share each.
It extends from above Market Deeping at the junction of old river and Mill Stream, through Market Deeping and Deeping St James to a point downstream known as Kenulph’s Stone & covers both banks.
Kenulph’s stone is a tripoint boundary marker between Cambridgeshire and the districts of South Kesteven and South Holland.
Fishing is only allowed from 16th June to 14th March
