The River Nene at Sibson / Yarwell is a deep and wide section of River with plenty of protection from both permanently moored boats and bankside vegetation. 32 pegs are available in total and all have platforms for comfortable access.
Large hard standing parking areas are provided behind some pegs.
If you continue to the end of the track you will come to Horseshoe Lake where there is additional parking.
Pegs 1 to 11 are accessed from within the lake via pedestrian gates. Please keep all gates closed and read the guidelines on disabling the electric fence to each gate.
Pegs 12 to 22 are on the roadway, with plenty of parking directly behind the pegs
Pegs 23 to 32 are accessed via a short walk with parking around Peg 22
Turn off the A47 and drive down through Wansford Village passing over the old bridge and Haycock Hotel.
Follow the road for just over a mile and look for a white bungalow on right hand side of road. You will find the padlocked gated entrance here.
Day Ticket Holders – Park on grass verge and enter via public footpath – 550m walk to riverside
Members – Turn right immediately after bungalow into entrance area where it is signposted with club sign.
The combination lock on gate, must be kept locked at all times (on entering and leaving). Follow the track down to the river.
Fishing is only allowed 16th June to 14th March
